I think that happens because the group is too big to have the number online found by the server in a reasonable time. It's not actually true.Definitely something wrong, I'm in right now and when I apply filters to the group it shows the entirety of Mobius PVE Eurasia as being offline and that can't be right. It shows 0 in Open, Private, Solo or CQC. I must be doing something wrong but I've no idea what. Any thoughts?

So let me get this straight. You went to a hotspot in Open in a shield-less, weapon-less DBX and got destroyed, and you did this 3 times?!This person destroyed my DBX three times today, when I tried to collect some materials at Dav's Hope. Without provocation. As my DBX was set up for exploration only, it didn't even have shields or weapons. He later sent me a message saying the "blockade is over for today and I that I can use the Dav's Hope".
I was just wondering is this type of behaviour sanctioned by the FDEVS and Game Community?
It's pretty lame if you ask me.
C'mon this is page 23 of the thread!I'm no fan of ganking/griefing, but didn't it occur to you after the first time to try something different?
Like I said, I think this is because the server can't actually cope with such a big group. You could try asking if this is the case on the Mobius website or Facebook group. From the Welcome screen, I had a look in 'Social' -> 'Groups' -> 'Other Groups' -> 'Mobius PVE Eurasia' ( 9384 Members ).
This brings up 470 pages of member names, all in grey. So I started applying the filters from the top right and all of them except 'offline' completely empties the list. I don't have any friends from the list yet because, they're all always showing as offline so I can't make any connections.
Thanks for the heads up, good to know it's not just me. Betraying my total lack of familiarity with groups; if a big group is breaking the server doesn't that make the whole group pointless as no-one can ever make use of it?Like I said, I think this is because the server can't actually cope with such a big group. <Edit> I've just checked; it's the same for me.
I don't think the big PvE PGs are meant to be frameworks where people necessarily know each other like in squadrons, more like an ad-hoc non-PvP modes not provided by FDev where you make friends like you could make them in Open (barring certain ways of making "friends", of course).Betraying my total lack of familiarity with groups; if a big group is breaking the server doesn't that make the whole group pointless as no-one can ever make use of it?
It's because FD persist in letting the huge-group sticking-plaster solution go on (administered by players with inadequate tools, which saves FD doing work themselves), instead of addressing the issue properly. But if I say any more this thread will transform into a copy of many others. Thanks for the heads up, good to know it's not just me. I took your advice and have put the question up on elitepve for Mobius
And I will stop there and leave it with elitepve, where I suspect the question has never been asked...It's because FD persist in letting the huge-group sticking-plaster solution go on (administered by players with inadequate tools, which saves FD doing work themselves), instead of addressing the issue properly. Well, I wear varifocals normally but with the lenses, it is for far prescription as distance vision is useless. I just had a look at vr-lens-lab.com (where I actually bought mine from, sorry for previous duff information) and they have a full range of lenses from positive to negative corrections, so if you are willing to try for $99, it may be worth it?I've looked into this and read ages ago that it should be my 'far prescription' for which I don't have one because my distance vision tests normal. It's my near vision which is a problem and VR seems to make it worse. Are your prescription lenses for near or far?
