I got Blue Cobra and kicked from game repeatedly (4 times) when trying to jump to the next star on my plotted route. I changed my route and it worked.

Edit: Two more successful jumps and got it again.

Relog into Elite Dangerous, not Horizons, not Odyssey. Once loaded in-ship, logout and log back into ED:O

This workaround helped me.

I got a bunch of those too. And purple rain and pink elephant and ... sigh... it's been a lot of connectivity issues with this update. I think I got them all.

When you are in hyperspace, be careful when you are kicked from game after a Blue Cobra error because it is on the next system after jump without a refuel on a star. So take a eye on your fuel gauge..

Taupe Cobra for me I can't get back into the game since this morning. I connect to the ED servers fine in the main menu but after trying to play I get "Taupe Cobra".

Dav appeared in a livestream last week and said if anyone's having connection issues, there's a page to submit the game's network log file to the devs.

The more people who upload this info, the more they'll have to work with.

Does anyone know where that page is, and where the network log file is? Searching for it now.

I'm guessing open a support ticket, attach the log.

Afaik, I do not have IPv6 enabled on my system. (Will have to check, been a while.)

Just got on in solo mode. Still issues with Open though.

Playing in solo and still have 'blue cobra' errors.
It's just one more of a million bugs that they should have rectified before an official launch but money talks I guess.
I've just tried to 'donate' 5 push to Domino Green and even if I have 139 in my inventory it will not allow you to transfer. EDIT followed advice on forum to use keyboard not mouse ( how broken is that) and donated 5 push, all I got was a name 'Kit Fowler' no info or location sure makes the grind worthwhile when it doesn't work.

If I keep trying to connect eventually it works... so keep trying to connect and it should let you play after 4-5 tries.

If you open a powershell window in the log folder (detailed above) you can paste this command in:

Get-Content .\Client.log -Tail 10 -wait

Now you can watch the log in realtime.

That's just the client though. You'll find the Odyssey log here:

(path to your elite dangerous program) Products\elite-dangerous-odyssey-64\Logs

So open a powershell there, look for the most recent log (mine is netLog.210523193214.01.log)

then use Get-Content .\netLog.210523193214.01.log -Tail 10 -wait

Now you can watch the Odyssey net traffic in realtime.


Incidentally, I disabled ipv6 in my network adaptor (the one with 'no internet access' above) and now the log only shows ipv4 connectivity.

I seriously think FDEV are advertising paint jobs for the ship manufacturers but yes i also get Blue Cobra on 50% of Jumps.
Its beyond annoying.
