Blueprint mad

Hey Guys, I have gone a bit blueprint mad and downloaded lots and lots of things from the steam workshop. My only prob is now finding what I want to use. It seems they are so jumbled up and sometimes for example i'll be looking at enrichment items for a habitat and some random blueprint shops will come up. I know you can turn blue prints on/off but the search facility just doesn't seem to work properly. I.e if I download an elephant exhibit and then type "elephant" in the search box it will still bring up all the blue prints I have downloaded and I will have to scroll down my massive list to find it.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to make it easier and more organised?

Mark as favorites the ones you use the most so you can bring those up and use filters extensively. Those are the two things I do.

If that's not good enough for you then you could always use the feature to add custom tags to things and define a set of tags that make sense to you and then add tags to all of your blueprints. At that point you'd probably want to go into Sandbox mode to go through every blue print one by one and give it a category tag. Seems like a big hassle to me, so I just use filters and favorites.

One thing that also helps is deleting all the garbage you thought you'd like but turns out you don't. I regularly go into sandbox mode and place each blueprint from the workshop one at a time to decide which ones to keep and which ones to unsub. Generally I unsub from like 80% of my recent downloads after I see it in game.

Custom tags are something that's very helpful in organizing. At some point I will have 1 per animal. I include the blueprints if they're meant for that specific animal. Saves me quite a bit of searching.

oooo good tips people thank you so much! I did try the filter as well but that didnt seem to work either. Would just bring up my whole list again or nothing at all. This is the first I have heard of custom tags but sounds like something my anal self would actually enjoy doing lol. Excellent idea about placing them in sandbox mode and then deleting too.
