Just read the OP but...NO, No, and no.
I’m on the fence about quitting over Open PvP.
Any more nonsense and I am gone. Got plenty to do in my spare moments. I’ll take my crappy ISP and go pout elsewhere. Too bad I bought all that store stuff. Well, as much as I have played, I guess it’s pennies an hour.

Ziggy...I love your sense of humour in this forum and my popcorn-consumption is at a new high, because of that.

I'm an open only player 98% of the time. I will only switch to solo, when I'm in the mood of chilling right next to Gas-Giant and such. You will never see me "manipulating" the game-mechanics in any significant way in "stealth-mode". For me it's just not challenging enough.

I also have no intend to discourage or name players inappropiatly for their choice of the game-mode they prefer.
It would simply break down to: Sure you can haul cargo in solo...for 300cr/t...BUT...if you go "open"...yeah sure...more risk...but you can get 900cr/t. What's wrong with that? It's an open-intensive, nothing more or less.

And to be honest. How is "progession" messured in this game? ASSETS...Either in ships or as a number in form of credits.

There are huge bonuses for playing in open.

With bounties, you can apply two or three or even four times the focuses DPS on your targets, leaving you able to make two or three or even four times as many credits.

With trading, you can have escorts or even fighter pilots that know which end to point at bad guys. You also have people to talk to, because, you know, trading is boring. You even have communications to tell you that the next port is unsafe.

With Thargoids, you have a markedly higher chance of success.

With station rescues you can support one another and be much more effective.

The benefits are significant. It's up to you to capitalize on them.

Non issue. We all know including them. If they want to push open only. They have to fix combat logging and P2P.

Punkbuster and other cheat blockers can detect things like that if you're ghosting. Its been around along time.

As a long time network engineer you should know what.

And if all you're going to do is promote cheating. You should be banned.

Because the difference between you and I. Is Fdev has been trying to promote Open Rewards for quite sometime.

While people like you go out of their way to try and stop it.

Arent you the guy that called Fdev thieves for trying to make powerplay work like it supposed to?

Go look at the posts in 2016 after they suggested it. Its the same group of people crying wolf. And its the same people that have admittedly over the course of time said they aren't even involved in those specific types of play. But they feel the need to hold the people back that are.

Ha Ha Ha, all you do is personal attacks, things just ain't going your way and you can't stand it that others don't agree with you. Game will never be open only deal with it.
