Bounty?

I have a bounty out of my home station(long story) can't find a Legal Contact with that faction present but not in charge Lacaille 9352 Jet State Holdings, not really sure where to go to pay rather than have a buy back?
So is it just easier to buy a free sidey and go there and let someone collect the reward? Or is there a way to look up a station that they are at but not in control?

You need to find an Interstellar Factor.
Have a search on Inara.

You just need an interstellar factor that isn't at Gupta city (assuming you're operating out of the big port rather than one of the outposts?)

Ross 154 - Birkeland City is less than 10ly away and has an IF.

Either way - Inara.cz/Galaxy/Nearest/*Type in star system you're currently in and hit search/Interstellar Factors and a list of those closest will come up telling you if they're Outposts, Orbital/Coriolis or Planetary bases.

Another thing I just thought of is I pledged to the Impire princess last night- does that make a difference?
I want to get the Pr-shields.

Pledging makes virtually no difference to anything at all. Just let the weeks go by, then deliver leaflets or shoot down whatever needs to be shot down.

It had me wondering cos I am allied up in all the systems close to home but now it shows "Hostile" on my right display by the fuel. I'll try at Ross 154 tonight- thanks...

OP, the bounty is on your ship and modules not you.

Killing yourself in a Sidey won't help, also swaping out the 'tainted' modules still leaves them hot and they will transfer that hotness (yup, it's a word) to your new ship.

That's Powerplay hostile. You'll see it whenever you're in another power's systems. You can ignore it.

What ship are you getting those shields for. For most ships, they're a waste of space. You can run into power and mass problems, plus they take too long to regenerate. For fighting NPCs biweave shields are often better.

Ross 154, that worked- question how did you know that they were there? Where do you find it?
Thanks.

Populated Anarchy systems will usually, I don’t know if they always, have them. If you’re on PC or have a tablet then you can use third party websites like Inara. They’re a fantastic resource, very clearly laid out but obviously some prefer to do everything ‘in-game.’

Regarding Prismatics, my experience is that they’re quite a specialist module. Very useful for certain builds, pointless for others. Well worth getting though as it’s all so easy.....and really no bother comes from anyone (you get used to the hostile message and it has no impact.)

I was thinking my T9 could use them?

You can actually look for an Interstellar factor in the Galaxy map.

Go to the star setting where you can select star type, economy, govt type ect and select services, then select Interstellar factor from the list...simple.
