Bug in franchise mode?

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if what's happening to me is a bug... I'm in my fifteenth year of my franchise mode and I think I've never had a sick animal... Moreover, before starting my franchise zoo I played in challenge mode, where I did have sick animals, that's what is making me wonder if it might be a bug or simply I did not realised and I did have sick animals.

Could it be a bug?

What I do not know if It's a bug is the fact that I have never had an ill or injured animal. The game does not tell you, but I think that in the fifteen years my zoo has been open the veterinary surgery has never been used. Of course sick animals are not a bug, but the lack of them?

In a well managed zoo there is no reason for that. The main reason for injuries is fighting, for sickness it's cleanliness (rotten food, dirty water, etc.).
I had only sick peafowls, because they poop near their water and the keepers couldn't clean it.

People use the word "bug" very lightly lately. But I do feel that now and than someone is tweaking the settings. It is hard to know if something is or was there, just waiting from the game gods to trigger it. I work with what I have, and take what I get.

Thank you! I thought it was a necessary part of a zoo.
