Newcomer / Intro Bugs Or Obstacle?

Two things that I am currently having problems.

1. When attempting to break Supercruiser, it will not respond. I did everything and won't respond nor hyperspacing to the nearest location. Why? I wanted to break it down to normal cruising to use below option.

Note: A moment ago, I was interdicted and was forced supercruise. All attempted to break supercruise and attempt for hyperspace failed. I did what I have to do. I exit and save the game in hope that it stopped.

2. When I attempted to break out my hard deployment, it refused to fire during supercruiser.

1. Check your key bindings in Options -> Controls, the default is "C" to enter/exit supercruise, double tap it for emergency exit. Default for hyperspace is "J".

2. You can't deploy hardpoints while in supercruise.

You cannot use your weapons during supercruise.

Roger. What about 1. ?

I custom keybind the supercruise key. Could it be a default keybind bug?

I have bound the 'K' key to SC and have no problem double pressing it to exit. It can cause hull damage and loss of control if you don't have Safe Destination Lock though.

If you try to fight interdiction and lose, therefore being forced out of supercruise, you fsd, targeting, weapons and thrusters can all become locked out for 30-40 seconds. I find it best to submit to interdiction by reducing speed right down, as this means you retain control of all systems. You can then fight or run and aren't a sitting duck.

the only weapon hardpoint toggle that may deploy in supercruise is the scanner if you have it say in the second or 3rd slot ,

in local space if the enemy ship is close to you , you become mass locked in effect and can't engage S.C you need to boost a distance away retract all hardpoints including scanner at this point and then hit your mapped key or k to re-engae S.C without having to target lock. or select your target and jump the 1st option means not having to line up in an area where you may have to face your pursuer. doble tapping J is also an emergency exit feature for

Not sure, what happens when you try to enter supercruise?

You should be able to start it by hitting your custom keybind unless you are mass locked and you should be able to exit it by pressing the same key if your speed is low enough (around 100km/s I think, don't remember exactly). You can double tap the same key for emergency exit at any speed.

Yes. It did says that before, but after the interdicted submission was total opposite. It likes nothing is responding other than the S.C. throttle control. It was a total junk system. At any rate, I can try in the morning.
