Camera Suite dirty lens

There is a lens effect on the camera suite than adds dirt and smudges to every shot. Sometimes it can add atmosphere to a screenshot, but for the vast majority of shots with bright light sources (like stars) it just makes a mess of them. If my camera had even a fraction of the dirt on the lens that the Elite camera suite does I'd be cleaning it straight away.

Is there any way to turn this off - it ruins more shots than it enhances.

There's a Lens Flare setting in the GraphicsConfiguration.xml.

Disable it (set to 0) for the specific Quality Setting you use and then try again. I guess it "should" be gone then.

Thanks. I'll give it a try, but I think it's more than just flare. If you look around the star in this shot the effect is that of dirt and smudges on the lens rather than light flare.

Squeegee removes camera dirt as well as windshield dirt.

I’ve suggested a toggle more than once, but got no traction for some reason.
