I rem they did do a thing where if requested they would sling you to the disks edge (I rem the screenies)
where It would be impossible to get back without destruction in 3302 I
think that was a beta thing as you say...…………..

I know that they can teleport you to goal jail. Which is a PITA if your ship doesn't have the range to get home.
Other than that I doubt it.
