The community spirit that was built during the Kickstarter was one of the really nice things about the whole campaign. It was great to see so many other people who shared a love of a classic game to the extent they were willing to put money into making the sequel happen come together.

It brought a big smile to my face when DB referred to Jonty Bass in one of the diaries and I bet we'll see this appear in the game. I'm sure there will be many little in-jokes and sly references that those of us around at the start will recognise.

I think its safe to say I owe my interest in computers and subsequent successful career in computers to the BBC B and Elite. Never 'done' a kickstarter before.

Never felt the need to have my photo taken outside a fairly generic building in Cambridge either, but there it is below.. impossibly exciting things are going on within.. probably ;)

haha.. yes, I think I will be named to be spotted in the alpha & beta worlds, but once we go public I will choose a name not quite so obvious and just share it with those folks I trust not to abuse me! ;)
