Can rides have multiple stations?

I want to set up a monorail that goes through my park. Can it have more than one station so that people can get off and on where they want? Any chance that staff could use it to go to work? I want to set up a remove keeper hut & staff room and have the staff use the monorail to get there. Will this work?

Yes, it can have more than one station. Work best that way, imo. Staff won't use it though, unfortunately.

Since 1.03 patch, visitors won't use it much either. There's some kind of bug or just bad tuning, that went into that patch which makes visitors not care much about rides except for when you first load up the zoo. My zoos with very popular transportation rides get a rush of boarders when I first load and then within minutes become completely deserted.

Yes you can put as many station in as you want to have , I spread them round my parks so guests don't have to walk miles . I also make sure my monorails go over as many exhibits as possible

I'm glad to hear that I can have multiple stations for the monorail, I'll definitely be doing that. I did find an interesting workaround to my problem for the staff. I found out that I can just make a remote area with a staff hut, a keepers hut and a trade center and not have it connected to anything else in the zoo other than the habitat I want them to maintain. I'm in sandbox with disease turned off but I can always add a vet and surgery if I adopt a wounded animal since money isn't a concern. I managed to get them to deliver 2 elephants from my new trade center - the 2nd in the zoo - and it worked fine. I don't know how the game knew to use the proper trade center since I had them in storage before even building it. That is pretty darned good!

I think sometimes the bugs in this game overshadow the things that are actually pretty great and working well - there are actually quite a few wonderful things about this game that I'm starting to appreciate the more I learn. When Frontier works the bugs out this is going to be the best game ever for me :)

Wait, so you added a second Trade Centre and it worked properly? That's great news, that would really help out with my next zoo since I'm intending to develop it on two sides of a broad river.

Yes, I did. And a river in my zoo is why I did it. I did it in Sandbox mode so I don't know if that makes any difference or not. I had a pair of elephants in storage in my original trade center, the only one I had. Then I built an elephant habitat and realized I didn't have any way to get a keeper there, which led me to build the stand-alone staff area - a tiny staff path with keeper gate off the back of my exhibit with just a staff room and a keeper's hut. Then I realized there was no way to get my animals to the habitat from the trade center so I added another trade center & a caretaker to the staff area. I created a new workzone with just the habitat and the stand-alone staff buildings and put the new workers in it. I tested it by moving the elephants from the trade center to the habitat and it worked - the elephants were taken from the new trade center into their new habitat. The game must have teleported them from the original trade center to the new one. I was really impressed!

I kinda feel bad for the staff in their little stand-alone area cut off from everything but that one habitat but I'll make it pretty for them eventually. It'll be interesting to see how well they take care of the elephants with no other distractions :) If this goes well I'm going to do this for all my big major habitats.

It works in franchise mode as well. I build more than one trade center in all of my larger zoos. It doesn't increase the number of animals you can actually store while still being able to make new purchases, but it does cut down on travel time when moving animals out of the trade center.
