I have been wondering , can Skimmers pick up objects such as containers and so on?
Why I ask this is because from time to time we can see stashes of cargo in a very neat fashion.
Often there are Skimmers with those , so is that the skimmers put them like that?
Or is it that someone in the elite universe felt it would be a good idea to just hide something in the midel of nowere for a while? and put skimmers there to protect the goods?
That would make sens of course.
But on more than once I have seen the same event , but with escape pods , so someone found an escape pod , but ditch it for some reason?
I find it fun to try to work out what stories the encounters tell (like the navbeacons that are crashed on planets must be the resault of them being blown up during a skirmish and drifting off)
But sometimes , like this sort of event I just cant seem to figure it out (I know its random , but FD dont just put nonsens in the game)
