Horizons Can the ship target and kill SRV?

I had never tried this myself. I just got into very interesting situation...

Landed on a planet. Some NPC showed up and started to scan me while I was on the surface. Somehow it decided to attack me. "Ok, thought I, go away", then deployed an SRV and dismissed my ship.

I thought this will solve the problem, but this NPC continued with attack. On my SRV this time. I couldn't shake him off, he just followed me and attacked while I was trying to hide somewhere. Nothing helped.

Is this normal? I mean, we can't target those skimmers while in the ship, until we are very close (like 50 meters), but this Eagle didn't lose me even 2km away...

If you see it, then you can kill it. You can kill skimmers, turrets, ships without target locks.

Right.

but you lose lock on skimmer when it's more than 100m away. And you can't see it 1km away, right? This npc did not lose me. All I want to know if it's possible.

Can you target and kill SRV that's 1km away of you?

can you get target lock on skimmers with emissive munitions?
I'm not asking about what I can get.

I'm asking about what THEY can. Eagle with lasers only could NOT have emissives anyway, right?

I didnt think that they could pursue the SRV on a ship. It was told that ship is too big to hunt SRVs, right? Even a small ship like an eagle...

I believe the pulse lasers can.

When i get missions to kill skimmers, i don`t bother to lock in, target lock don`t working anyway i just killing them with fixed weapon from 1-2 km, and yes after they spam i see them from that distance. I am pretty sure that i can easily do the same with SRV.

I've had this happen to me before as well, so the obvious answer is yes, it can happen. Fortunately the SRV is hard to hit and the AI aren't great shots, so you can just run back to your ship and engage or run from there. I recently set off the alarms at a ++ base and ended up running back to my ship with every turret and three ships shooting at me, fortunately I had parked my ship in defilade so the turrets were out of the picture fairly quickly and thank the space gods as I made it back with no shields and 20 or 30 some odd % of hull left (I was a little busy at the time) and the ships were well on their way through the first ring of shield by the time I got free of the ground. Exhilarating!

Ships will attack you for no apparent reason as well, so watch for targets as you land, if their combat ships, their suspect.

Ai doesn't follow our rules. They simply know where you are. Their shots are fairly inaccurate though - unless they use seeker missiles. At least that was their behaviour when I played last and I reported it as bug with ships locking their missiles on our SRV. Apart from that I can only recommend attacking a base with a patrol ship that has rails equipped. The effects are quite spectacular.

I had an Anaconda once chasing me to a planet and it failed big time manouvering when I landed in a hilly region. Some reckless flying into rock was seen that day.
