Horizons Can two SRV's be used in Multi-Crew?

I have a friend who has just began his Elite journey and I have been stuck between going to see the Guardian ruins and helping him out. Seeing the ruins is something I have been wanting to do for a long while as a part of the Ram Tah mission.

I was wondering if I could take him along for the journey in my cutter, I have 2 SRV's at present and I was wondering a few things.

-can we both deploy and use SRV's from the same ship (I have tried looking this up before but have found little detail)

-will He receive Exploration Data from the trip?

- how long does the journey take in Gameplay (travel there and back included) to see all the sites?

Thankyou for your time!

sorry, that is a no

Ah, that is unfortunate. all this hype about multi-crew and can't even have fun with it.... fighters it's alright. but even then, its more beneficial to just wing up with the same person in terms of damage and survival. And don't even mention the pointlessness of gunners......

Well, you know... you can travel together, its not so far, shouldn't take long for your friend to get something like a CM3 and stick a SRV on board.

Well I suppose my Cutter only has a 26Ly range, be less than an hours trip, I tend to rush but sometimes like to have a look at sites that are worth it. I will never get bored of seeing white dwarfs, Black holes and the occasional water world. really wish there were more mesmerising trace atmospheres (seeing a neon/ xenon Sunrise would be jaw dropping) although such instances of Nobel Gas atmospheres would be rare...

after all this time, I am beginning to enjoy exploration more and more. Just wish my graphics card was better :/

as for the Multi-crew, makes sense to give him a cobra. although he certainly isn't the exploring type hehe. better if he rode shotgun on this one, can watch me drive out of the cockpit :p

Well, as i said, the guardian ruins are not that far, its barely exploration at that distance (although remembering back in the days of 1.0 when i thought 1000LY was a long distance - haha).

A CM3 with an A rated FSD, Size 4 SRV bay, and decent scoop..... not too expensive, can make the distance in about an hour and a half?

My group uses mutli crew for exploration all the time as 1 person flys off to a place and then invites the others once they are there.
Extenal camera is great for looking around places as a crew member!

We just kill at a RES then, bang, we are at the middle of the galaxy. HAHA
