Newcomer / Intro Can you start clean again?

My first attempt turned into a disaster and now I am wanted.
Firstly when inside a station and trying to land I accidently ejected my cargo and was fined. (Need to write down commands on my stick)
I then proceeded to crash into a building, again forgot what buttons I had programmed, I know no need to tell me.
Also took a delivery mission from bulletin board for delivering metals, turned out to be stolen metals so now I am wanted.

Was just a bit too keen to get started flying and never thought of the results.

So my question is can I restart fresh?
Only see options to save and quit and not just quit without saving.

Off to write down what buttons do what on my hotas

If you leave and save the game to the menu .. then go to options you can delete save. This starts you off at the start again.

4 times for me. I finally know what I'm doing now. Took some nasty explosions by docking police, being silly and accepting cargo missions that exceed my max cargo, and a hundred or so failed landings. I cleaned the slate, then found my freagle and sold it for 40K. After some cargo missions and trades, I'm close to having enough for the hauler. Im having so much fun!
