Cannot Scan Nav Beacon

What exactly do you mean by that? You can't target the nav beacon (i.e. the actual satellite), or when you target it nothing happens?
Thanks for your replies. Nothing is shown as damaged when I check after docking.
I plot to Nav Beacons and can sit with it in sight. My joystick 3 button can target floating debris for collection but does not work when facing a beacon.
Not sure what the yellow nav point is.
I can bring up an orange semi circle when facing a beacon and a blue one that tried positioning it under the beacon.
Nothing in the list of destinations highlights.
Is there a particular module that I should install?

Just to reiterate: There are two "Nav Beacon" markers when you drop to normal spaceat the nav beacon - the navigation marker, and the physical beacon. You need to scan the physical beacon, not the nav marker. If you cannot target it on the HUD, it also appears as a contact in the left hand panel. You need to be facing the beacon to scan it, the scan itself is passive - all you need is working sensors.
