Yep, same here as well. Doesn't seem to be any particular reason, just decides to have a problem and that's that. Ah well, maybe in a week or so things will be back to normal.

In 2015 there were 20k at one time and it was working fine.. now barely 8k and servers rnt working "just steam i know" but the same was in 2015

How can it be better in 2015? then 2018?

My understanding is there was a default privacy change that would be expected to show that in the stats.
That's why they are practically worthless now.
