I can't see how putting rabbit food and egg-goo is going to make anything any better ;) It was burnt and cold, which I couldn't get my head round. So cold it snapped like a biscuit. I had to make do with a slightly salty bread cake/bun/bap after I'd fished out the worst of it.

I can just about understand the servers being overwhelmed yesterday on launch, but to still be having the same problems 24 hours later is shocking, given this is sitting on a cloud (scaleable!) service.

Home from work, looking forward to an hour or two in the Python and nada. Almost forcing me to go and watch the PM get deposed.

Server issues again....Had planned to take the DBX out today for a spin, but FD servers says NO!!!!!Will I ever get to try out the new fss? Probably not this week....:(

Today was the first time I could play since the update. It let me on just long enough to get my Python out into open space and start setting up my FSS controls, then -bang-, "cannot connect to matchmaking server."

"Look at this cool new feature! Wouldn't you like to try it out? Well too bad, because you can't!"

Hope they get it sorted out soon.

Having the same issues as OP. Had one crash to desktop. I guess i'll do something else and wait till the noobs are finished mapping everything.

Well, I for one am glad you cannot connect to the server: Stuck in a week long off-site work project and not back until Saturday. :) Can't have you lot mapping all the systems before me!

What's the actual server automatic save tick rate for such a case? I hope all my minerals won't go away after FD get their servers up. If not, I'll be very angry.

Also, butty is colloquial English used by the Welsh as a word for a buddy/friend/pal.

So a bacon butty could be someone's friend who is a pig, but then there lead more connotations that we shall not go into!

English can be a pretty confusing language to even natives at times.

Four candles, anyone?
