Can't Find the Deluxe Items!

I bought the deluxe edition awhile back, but I can't find the three species in the game. For that matter, I can't find the right spot in Steam to activate the deluxe content as well. Any help/suggestions are great

There was a problem with the activation of the Deluxe Edition animals DLC, which should have been fixed by now.
