Can't get ED to start in VR

My ED recently had an issue where it wouldn't launch. My fix was to reinstall. I've done this and now I can't seem to find out how to launch ED in VR. Desktop works fine. I'm using the ED Launcher outside of Steam and Oculus Store. Any help would be appreciated.

Launch the game. Go to options, graphics, 3d and select HMD speakers. You may need to restart ED.
