Newcomer / Intro Can't jump out of the system

Hello Guys!

i think i did a gravemistake, i was trying out rare good trades and after i got some money i did upgrade my Cobra with a new frame ship drive but i didnt notices the way reduced jump lenght (from 15ly to 5,3lj) i thought "hey it costs more and has lower fuel using so i buy it"...well then i wasnt able to jump out of the system, i docked back and tried re-buying the old drive. i got a strange error notice that the server not responded...after that it was gone. i restarted the game and it was still gone. i tried selling my weapons, buying a lower fueltank, nothing helped me and now i cant jump out of the system because every system i more then 5,3ly away.

any suggestions?

Try at different stations in the system if there are some. If not, you have got a problem. In the future remamber to check the class of the module. It should never be lower than the one you have equiped, regardless of the other stats.
And if you cannot find a solution, just wipe...

Oh that sucks. "Buy back" should always be an option even if you lose your connection and this sort of situation is exactly why.

Besides wiping what can you do to fix this? Do stations get new or different outfittings after a set amount of time the way the bulletin board changes? I hope so.

there was only 1 station in this system, well i had to sell my cobra and buy a hauler to get out. its ok but the bug that occured was kind of a bummer for me in that situation
