cant play with friends

Hi Sarduca, lots of us play with friends without a problem so without more detail your original post feels like it could be a troll, could you let us know a bit more and maybe we can help out?

I'd love to know how you play online with your friends....

Seriously, I can't for the life of me figure it out.

I was grouped, and only saw my friend in system about 30% of the time. Not to mention I can't ever see where they are in space, which is ludicrous.

Wings has indeed been promised as one of the first major updates due in the new year, the Dev's have been pretty much upfront about this for a while now



This is false (the random matchmaking bit), people on your friends list are prioritised to appear in the same shard as yourself, it works for me and my friends.

It doesn't though, at least not for me.

Ok, this is a big disappointment.

So, if I got this correct (and if not, please correct me):

- there is a single universe, people playing in different modes will all dock at the same station and "compete" for buying the same goods (or room at the market if they are selling the same goods), but will not be able to see or influence each other?
- when doing missions in order to increase a faction's influence in a system, you can't encounter and attack players who run missions for the opposing faction if they don't allow it?
- if someone blocks you, you will never, ever encounter him until he removes this block?
