Summary
System: Carcosa
Station: Robardin Rock (Asteroid base, large pads available, 6.14 Ls from main star, ~22,000 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Aid celebrations by helping to distribute the commodities across the region.
Time limit: 6th August 3312 @ 10:00 UTC

Description
Colonia Council is once more calling on pilots to aid in the celebrations by helping to distribute the commodities across the region.
Commanders can support this initiative by first signing up at any station with a Mission Board, then supply Curated Commodity Packages found at Jaques Station to the market at Robardin Rock in Carcosa
Curated Commodity Packages sold as part of this initiative will have a 30x price multiplier..
Pilots who register at least 1 contribution will receive the following rewards:
  • 1x class 5 cargo rack pre-engineered with increased cargo capacity.
  • Credits, depending on success tier achieved and individual contribution level.
The campaign begins on the 30th of July 3312 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
To be eligible for rewards Commanders must sign up as an active participant before supplying Curated Commodity Packages found at Jaques Station to the market at Robardin Rock in the Carcosa system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

Notes:
  • Robardin Rock is around planet 1
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel
Price at Robardin Rock:
  • Curated Commodity Package: 15,750 Cr/Unit

Be aware that 3 of the 4 CGs are all or nothing, only 1 tier.

Looks like it's been adjusted to three tiers now.

Unfortunately this is a display bug; the CG still lists 1 tier on Inara, and if you look at it before looking at Einheriar's CG mission, it will stay at 1 tier until you look at it. THEN it bugs and shows them all with 3 tiers.

Don't hang about in CG even in SOLO!
Exited Jaques with fully loaded PC2, plotting route to here, when got attacked by 3 NPC's, lost shield in seconds so must have been pretty powerful ships even for NPC's.

Didn't hang around to see what they were but checked as I started jump and they were solid red triangles and so confirmed I was not in OPEN by mistake!
Jumped with no shield and 66% hull left, so if I was unshielded, I don't think I would have made it!
Could they be the new NPC's in Kestrels or other OP ships?

EDIT I am not aligned to any Power and never have been - not interested in PP!

Yes, Jaques has NPC pirates hanging around that will cargo scan and try to rob/attack you. Though a shield going down that fast is unusual. NPCs there should not have any or only light engineering.

Note that this is probably the last FCOC carrier run which will catch the Carcosa CG. The captain intends a straight 15-16 hour trip to make it in time. Please be aware that the Randgnid CG will most likely be completed tonight.

The Carcosa CG needs all the help it can get so that we'll finish 3 out of 4 and make the creation of the Colonia megamarket more likely o7

I used a FCOC carrier for the last Festive Gifts CG in Colonia - Great service!
And you can catch one back when you like.
I met a few CMDR's in the bar but had to bring my own drink in a hip flask as the barman didn't want to serve me alcohol - probably smelt too much on my breath!

I also tried to donate Tritium, but wasn't able to as the CMDR (or others) kept it topped up! Fantastic!

As said, Carcosa needs a lot of help, but I will be using my T8 to try and get the CG for Paxton Landing to Tier 1 for the rewards, as it is 3 tiers.
Note if Carcosa doesn't even reach tier 1 I think we get no CR! (for that one anyways).

The credit rewards are actually suprisingly low I think, 65 mil for top 10 in Asura, 4 runs profit margin on a typical plipper?

Yes, by CR I meant the Cargo Rack, not Credits. If Carcosa fails to reach T1, we get nothing at all for this CG.
And I believe even the Einheriar CG will be very difficult to reach Tier 1 (16M?) unless and until those still doing Randgnid finish it quick and move on to another CG.

I think we will have to decide on the 3rd CG to try for, but <herding cats> comes to mind!

Carcosa is moving at pace, there is a decent amount of plippers in the region and i would imagine they want to maximise profitability plus all the haulers who didn't and don't care to spec out a T8 for this one event and the cargo caspians means the large pad is going to be the deciding factor here I think.

Definitely Carcosa next. That's a little under 27 million t to do for large haulers. Einherjar is probably around 14.5 million t to tier 1, but, since it's medium pad, you can multiply the time required to do that by factor 2-3, and then this looks like 30-45 million t in comparison to the 27 million at Carcosa.

excatly like that. the Einheriar runs need around 48000 transports, Carcosa around 27000

A very very early estimate on how Carcosa might go: Asura had one full workday, which was Friday, on which it managed to pull 6.6 million t. That were 5000 participants, now we have 7500 and might get to 8000. So hopefully 7 million per day is possible. That leaves us with 15 million after Monday, 22 million after Tuesday and 36 million on Wednesday, that would be the win. Add whatever is done tonight after Randgnik is finished, and we actually have a buffer, if the 7 million per day don't work out.

OK, just done 9 runs in T8 to Paxton's, but it seems the consensus is to do Carcosa, so changing back to my PC2 to do runs to there, after a break.

With 2 targets now, instead of 4 we may just do the 3rd CG if all do Carcosa,I suppose, and the 4th may well fail.

EDIT - still time for new CMDR's to join as a few more FC's seem to be heading out! WTG!

We are already a quarter of the way, before the bulk of commanders have even shown up in force here yet too!

This is my favorite system in the CG

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.
Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.
Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.
Song of my soul, my voice is dead;
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.
