Carrier Questions about cargo & other ships docked.

Hi All

I looked in the Carrier FAQ but I couldn't see the answer to some questions I would like answering, so here they are if anybody would care to enlighten me.

1. Is it possible to see what cargo your Carrier contains if you are not docked at the Carrier. (example. if you are in a ship in another system which doesn't contain your Carrier).
2. How do you know or find out what other player ships might be docked at or inside your Carrier, and again is this possible if you are yourself not docked at your Carrier.

The INARA Website can provide some of this Informations, but limited to cmdrs that have a Profile there.

1. - Yes, via the right hand panel.
2. - As above, possibly some info via third party tools, but not in game.

1. Inara can pull your FCs manifest from FDevs servers. Set up the data import then navigate to CMDR > Hangar > Fleet > Carrier > Cargo . It's not quite real time but other than that it works quite well.
2. Not really because FDev doesn't make that info available. Inara relies on CMDRs self reporting for that, so it's limited at best.

1. Indirectly. You can go into carrier management, and in the two markets (normal and secure) scroll the commodities.
2. Not possible. But.... you can send it 5-6Kly away from the bubble, and check the local chat for curses

1. ... only for cargo which can be sold and purchased via market or black market of the carrier (basically everything, but not rares, besides galactic travel guides...).

Only stuff you have placed in your market for buying/selling. Cargo placed directly on your carrier you can not see.
Carrier Management -> Commodity Trading menu. Displays all the cargo on the carrier.

2. How do you know or find out what other player ships might be docked at or inside your Carrier

Nope.

INARA is really good for the overall presentation of information regarding your carrier. Budget, services, cargo, and market.

You can see it in the list, it just wont be available to buy or sell if you haven't listed it.

...Well, yeah, that was one of the scenarios I was thinking about.

I had set the function as 'friends only', but at the moment I'm moving the Carrier around quite a bit so I've now set it to 'none'.
Strange, I would have thought seeing if anybody is docked would be possible (and fairly important imho), oh well.
As for question 1.
As soon as I saw MR1000's post (thanks btw) I realised how utterly thick I can be sometimes. ....it's just a few mouse / joystick clicks away isn't it.
