Sending best wishes from Reptile & me. :)

Congrats to all who already arrived! Well done.

I just arrived as well with two other commanders and will try to be online tomorrow for the official event.

Thanks all involved in organising this fantastic event!!!

The Christmas Carriers Convoy is now officially over!

For some, it was a stroll in the park, for others, a personal missions, for a lot, it was a first experience. It sure was a long trip - not in distance, but in time, in effort and in courage. We trusted each others, we gave ourselves the means to go one step further and make the CCC a unique and memorable event. It was a nightmare to prepare and organize, but it went fine n_n' And even though instancing wasn't kind to us tonight, we got to echo the departure event with a decently numbered mass jump (~50) to Colonia. Lots had already arrived, some are still enroute, but the symbol remains. Together, we pushed the boundaries.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped at any level. Especially to Souvarine and Ian Doncaster as Mission Command and Escort Leader; to the Departure beacons: D Sinclair, DrYayoMeister (XBox), EchoWake (XBox), Erimus, Judge Rhadamanthus, KT421, NOHJ, Shand Gruffly, Souvarine, Zephrow; to Pendragon and MostlyAwol for coordinating the US launch; to 2301 for putting together the Midway Celebration; and to Grnbrg, Maximilian Reach, NOHJ and Zephrow tonight for the Arrival jump.

Kudos to everyone who took the time to send video footage, and to Max Reach and Valiant Crick for their brilliant editing. I mean, just watch the vids. There's no other like them.

I hope you enjoyed the trip, and look forward to see you in our little corner of the Galaxy, working on the new stuff we prepare for you on the website ;)

Fly deep, take care, <3 and o7

Thank you Qohen Leth for planning the convoy.

As my first long distance trip, it was enjoyable and gave me a good set of waypoints to meet along the way out to Colonia. I'll be hanging around Colonia for a bit exploring the neighbourhood, also to give myself some time to rest. At some point in the future I'll be headed back to the bubble via Sag A*.

If anyone in the North American time zone would like to do a little gathering to mark the end of the convoy, post here or in discord as I'd be up for another gathering.

That was a lovely expedition. It was a pleasure and a privilege to fly with you all out there.

Glad to see this evening's grand finale went off well. Sad I couldn't make it this particular time.

Big thanks, Qohen and all others involved in the organization.

This was a such great event, so many commanders worked together in a peaceful way. I had epic moments and hard times jumping, but in the end we all did it and all the hard work is forgotten. Made a load of new friends on this trip. :D
Thank you all, commanders, you have been great! Every single one of you!

And we showed one thing with CCC: We were too big to handle for FD - so come on, people of Frontier, get creative! Think about fleet instancing or some kind of priority instancing for events like this. There is so much more potential here.

o7, Sir!

Thank you to all those involved in both organising and taking part! Its community events like this and seeing the willingness to create something awesome from nothing that brought me back to this game.

Thank you to all the new friends I made along the way. Though Im glad the long slog of a haul (1704 jumps) is over... maybe Ill take neutron highway back... Though maybe I'll stick around for a bit and grab a drink in the bar first.

Made it to Jaques by Boxing day then xmas celebrations and family commitments took over, damn RL so missed out on the party yesterday :(

I enjoyed the journey and had to force myself to 'stay on target' many times due to all the wonderous things to see along the route distracting me.

Anyway it's off to visit Sagitarius A while I'm out here, it's only another couple of thousand lightyears, but I may strip the guns of the Sidey and D rate a couple of things to boost the jump range above the current 22ly.

Thank you Commander Qohen Leth for that experience!

I also want to thank (like you have) KT421, who was my beacon on launch day and helped me to feel comfortable during the start into this epic journey, Cmdr Grnbrg, who was always there to help and answer questions (or create a beacon on route to the meeting point yesterday) and Cmdr NOHJ, who acted as a beacon yesterday as well and coordinated the event. It was a nice gathering of ships and SRVs in the valley close to Colonia Hub and it was great to finally see and meet the people that you always read about during the journey. A fantastic community. I am looking forward to the next event.

I realized on this trip that an ASP X is great for it but I definitely need to work with engineers to boost my jump range.

I also learned that a Conda is a great ship with good jump range for long distance hauls like this one. I do not have one (only a T-9 with ridiculous 12 Ly JR) but I will work up to fit one back in the bubble for my next trip to Colonia. I might consider running the Colonia<>Bubble route for a while after schmoozing up with the engineers.

And the most important learning from this trip: do not push the destruct button in a fully fitted T-9 in Hillary Depot as a cheap and easy way back to the bubble to get your Asp. READ THE FINEPRINT! You will lose your ship and you will have to grind more missions to get the money back to fit it again, which defeats the purpose in "saving time" by not flying back in your slow T-9. Insurances do not pay anything if you simply want to do a mind jump back to the bubble. That was a hard lesson learned for me during this trip. Coming from several years of EVE Online where you can simply transfer your clone to another jumpclone did cloud my judgement. The Elite D version of this is more realistic.

I will stick around in Colonia for a few and then start my journey back to the bubble. See you around, commanders!

Fly safe! o7

Many thanks to the organizers of the CCC. They did a superb job. This was the best online event I've ever experienced. Thanks to all who participated too. You guys made it fun.
