CG predictions...

Looks like VM kietrax might leave the edits in the copy and paste CG for phase 4 CG till actual thursday... last week they wrote them all at Wednesday lunchtime...
but thats been and gone allready...

Fed Cap ship is no more. Maybe the AX CZ will be progressively lost through the week? (edit: seems less likely) No sign of anything else so far, still plenty of 'goids around

I think the report was wrong - there are new AX CZ with POI icons that contain killed ships (basically rebranded Distress Call POI) - not seen any Cap Ships. I dropped in at the one around 8 B and it was Imperial ships in the usual green cloud

Edit: 8 a (POI) is Fed wrecks (not Cap Ship though), 12 d is Imperial

Someone straight in there with 2.8B lol, they could probably take the rest of the week off.

I predict Salvation will have more salvage than he can handle (no doubt Sirius will be keen to help out).

FIGHT THE THARGOIDS IN HIP 22460

The Proteus Wave project has entered its final days before activation, according to Azimuth Biotech. Commodore Halloran, commanding the Bright Sentinel, offered this statement: "Salvation's grand plan to eliminate the Thargoid threat is almost ready to deploy. The Proteus Wave device's integration at the HIP 22460 10 b surface site is almost complete. Soon the superweapon will initiate a charging phase, generating the power needed for its activation in the coming days." "We are so close to achieving our goals in HIP 22460. But Thargoid numbers are increasing despite our efforts to hold them back and their fleets are flooding the system. Any weakness on humanity's part will leave us exposed at this critical moment. I ask again, on behalf of Salvation and all who have sacrificed so much to end this war: fight the Thargoids in HIP 22460 wherever you find them, for as long as you can." The Allied, Federal and Imperial anti-xeno taskforces continue to engage Thargoid forces within the HIP 22460 system. Volunteers are still urgently needed to support their capital ships and take part in defending the Proteus Wave project.
The Musashi, an Azimuth megaship in the nearby Pleiades Sector CW-U B3-2 system, will redeem all Thargoid combat bonds.
The top 50% of contributors will receive one medium Salvation Plasma Charger.
The top 25% of contributors will receive two medium Salvation Plasma Chargers.

In support of the anti-Thargoid efforts, a variety of AX weapons are now available to purchase at the Musashi. The campaign begins on the 4th of August 3308 and will run for one week.
Shortly after the campaign ends, rewards will be distributed and further instructions given.

High planets 4 and 12...

Oh really? You seem to know more than we do? :)
Its patch week cant run a good CG when the servers are down every day for PC EDO 13 hot fixes...
No hot fix updates for consoles we will have to suffer with what ever new bugs are added with EDO compatality update untill november "stablity" fix lol... :)

In the latest galnet news Engineer Ram admits his rival CG to salvation was a failure in that it did not give enough info to allow reverse engineering of the P wave... this means the powers had set up 3 research bases that were doomed to fail and a waste of money...

The Empirical: “Ram Tah has published theoretical papers on the Guardian technology derived from the Proteus experiments. However, he admits that full comprehension of the superweapon’s construction requires scientific data held exclusively by Salvation.”

Aka he had the 3 powers waste a ton of money when he never had the info needed to start with...

With the announcement that the Azimuth Saga concludes with the release of Update 13 on Tuesday ... predictions for what happens next?

I'm going for
- weapon, in a tactical sense, works as advertised and destroys a substantial number of Thargoids
- weapon, having been ridiculously overcharged, also destroys or disables most of the large-scale human infrastructure in the system
- AX CG at the Musashi, conveniently in the next system over, continues for people to hand-in previously collected bonds
- basic medical supplies CG to assist S&R from Thursday, to give Galnet time to get the next set of story arcs going
