I thought I'd produce some unclassified relics and have made my way to a Thargoid structure to that end. I have successfully inserted the 3 Guardian relics into the machine and I can see the floating above me in the room. I have repeatedly scanned the Thargoid device, but it must need some WD40...

You know, it would be quite amusing if Frontier did a "convert Guardian Relics" CG and then it turned out that feeding a large number of them to a site will turn it into another Major Anomaly. Although I think a lot of people wouldn't see it this way.

I hope FD have some sort of interaction with that Major Anomaly lined up.... and it's nomenclature gives me some hope that there's meant to be other "Major Anomaly" types out there.

sensible chuckle... but I didn't mean it in that way e.g minor, medium, major anomaly... rather there may be things other than the big Thargoid Goostorm which will be labelled "Major Anomaly".... otherwise it likely would have had a more descriptive name.

There's the whole L07, Q05 etc. Codex anomalies set - is the implication that this is somehow related? "Stable energy pattern" appears to be what it means in practice for the Codex, which I guess isn't far off what the Major Anomaly looks like.

If the day of remembrance is today, then the next CG probably won't be specifically for that. One to build more AX capital ships is more likely, perhaps? Could have two at once - one Federal, one Imperial - depending on whether they need to spread things out or not.

Yeah, more AX defences was my guess - then Imps next week to finish the trio. They still haven't announced the 4.0EDH date, so I don't think there is a rush to get all the CGs in (and we are in the Aftermath before the next main story arc starts after all). Meanwhile the Palin/Tah research missions bubble on in the background.

I think I'm most interested in what the Thargoids do, and Derin talking about the Guardians on the stream this week is intriguing - wasn't sure we would get more from them any time soon.

There are so many CG reward modules that are still not at the tech brokers that I've lost count. I hate non-cosmetic exclusives.

Don't get me wrong, I'm saying nothing against temporary exclusives, and those who do/did the CGs got the modules without the tech broker material cost, but all exclusivity should end at some point. Some of those modules have now been exclusive for a year or more, shouldn't that be enough ? And then there's the Cobra IV, which has now been an exclusive for what ? 8 years ?
