CG predictions...

I'm curious how ALD will react to all the developments that happened in the Galaxy while she was gone. The dissolution of Aegis, Salvation, the increasing influence of Hadrian, the creation of the Marlinists, etc. I expect a drastic change in Imperial foreign policy once she thaws out.

I guess she'll just give everyone her cold shoulder.
I can only hope so. We worked our asses off expanding and consolidating the Marlinist Systems and I hope Empsicle Arissa doesn't decide she doesn't like the idea of a Marlinist democratic sanctuary growing on the side of the Empire like a tumor.

Since the Alliance is almost exclusively in Coalsack and has all but squeezed everyone else out of Witch Head those areas are now also "Alliance Space", and in more immediate danger of attack.

This whole deal with Sirius stinks.

The Federation make a hard strike on Evangelis recently, and took over the system and almost all the starports and settlements. If this will continue then there will be interesting changes in WHS soon.
Has anyone heard from the group(s) that pushed the Alliance into the WH recently? It's rather conspicuous that Onoros and Evangelis are the only systems there that pushed the incursion back.

Oh boooy can't wait to see what the rewards for today's CG are! They haven't disclosed any details, right?

Were the federal factions there since the Witch Head Alliance enclave was formed, or were they added recently?

There from the start. All 3 Superpowers were represented, and systems were mostly evenly split between them.
And then Alliance steamrollered them.
They still have to get Evangelis up and running. The Imps at Onoros are way ahead there and things are moving quickly.
As for the Alliance... Thargoids smash stations and overrun systems, Alliance doesn't lift a finger.
Megaship arrives at Reorte and everyone looses their minds...

Considering it was something marlinism-related (yes, NMLA is just an extremist group) I do think Arissa might thaw out very blindly mad towards it. It might ignite some CGs but I do hope the community will lead the story in the kind of way that Jenna Fairfax would have wanted.

She may have been around for at least some of that - the stated year-long absence is actually a bit less than the gap since her last public appearance. She was probably around to see the proposal of the Colonies and to pardon Hadrian.

Pilots’ Federation ALERT

Deliveries have been requested in the Alcor and Colonia systems to implement services to the Colonia Bridge starports.

A press release from Brewer Corporation provided the details:

“The fourth and final phase of our Colonia Bridge project will take place over the next four weeks. Our goal is to finish constructing the starports that were recently added to the route between the Colonia and Alcor systems.”

“For the first week, we require deliveries of Coffee, Emergency Power Cells, Geological Equipment and Liquid Oxygen to Macdonald Settlement in the Alcor system and Jaques Station in the Colonia system. If we receive sufficient commodities, we can add Universal Cartographics and Vista Genomics to all six stations.”

“Everyone at Brewer Corporation was impressed by the galactic community’s dedication to improving the travel corridor to the Colonia region. For this week’s initiative, contributing pilots have the opportunity to be rewarded with a generous number of credits. In subsequent weeks, we will be offering a variety of additional rewards.”

“Following feedback from our shareholders, we also plan to install beacons to recognise the major contributors to all phases of the Colonia Bridge project. The top ten contributors of every past and upcoming Colonia Bridge initiative will be listed on these beacons to immortalise the names of these pilots.”

The Colonia Bridge starports currently offer rearm, refuel and repair services as well as basic commodity trading. The second, third and fourth weeks of this phase will focus on adding further services.
Emphasis mine - well, that's going to make CG predictions easier.

Wild assumption time: We'll get either hotfix 10.3 or update 11 within the next two weeks. That's when double engineered modules will finally get fixed 🤞and it's also why week one of phase four only offers credits.

But not so strange. People use burning station rescues to rank up in the Fed and Empire, I think that has more to do with it than any concerted effort to take the systems back.

Do burning station rescues affect the BGS?
By default, yes, the more missions done the more influence a faction can get given... Not all missions only give rank up, the mission can give influence to that faction... Wars and elections then trigger as they get close which allows a faction to be pushed down while those not in the war can skip passed both...
