Lol some of these posts are comically irrational and full of spite... if they are being serious. "If only I had known I could play my favorite game a little bit less and still get rewarded!! CG Top 25% Deserve Something Extra

Yeah dude, I busted my ass to get in the top 25% when I literally could have done less than 10% of the work to get the same rewards because of whiners. I had to kill 25 interceptors to get in the top 25%; 1 would have got me in the top 75%. I hauled over 16k cargo - 2/3 the long way from the bubble with no FC support. 1 full load from my Type 9 would have got me in the top 25%. So yeah, the OP has a point about the people who got in the top 25% should get something more.
I’m a LEP holder and I’ve literally spent hours playing this game and now some people can have it for free and they will probably spend minutes playing it.

It's my understanding the award grade was explanded because people like yourself, without carrier support, were otherwise disadvantaged in the CG. Re-advantaging carrier supported commanders kind of defeats the object of doing that.
Well done though Commander. You pushed through and well deserve both the award and extra millions in the upper tier.

There is a storyline associated with the CG too. At risk of sounding like xzanfr you .. er .. ensured rapid completion?
I’m not bothered about anything extra but I would have thought FDEV would have throne a bone for those in top 25% like an extra fsd or something unique for those who went out of their way o show that their efforts were rewarded. I suspect there was a lot of people who did this CG just for the fsd reward rather than an alliance coalsack nebula expansion.
I don't want anything extra. It just proves to me that I need to be wary of anything FDev say or announce in the future. It's only a game but I've lost a bit of trust with the CMs and Fdev and trust to me is more important.
Best not to do that, play the game universe instead. People without carriers were disadvantaged and the uptake was obviously pretty high so damned if they do, damned if FDev don't, you didn't miss out, other people benefitted too. There's a difference.

I'm one of the people who actually got in the top 25%, frankly I'm happy as long as I got my FSD. I'm not looking for anything extra. I don't like it when rules get changed, but I understand why it was in this case(even though the developers should've known this was going to happens, FC owners have been doing this type of thing, for as long as they been around).
With that said though, omfg it was much harder to hit the top 25% then it should have been. If you didn't abuse FC, you had to grind all night like I had to(and you better have a damn good ship at that that just so happens to be suited for the job at hand. Luckily I just basically got finished building a jumpconda when the CG popped up).
I made a suggestion to fix this FC nonsense for the future. Make it so a FC can't park within a certain ly range of a drop-off location.
