I post as a leading member of a much respected faction within the "Old Worlds". Leesti has great significance for our faction and many others in our region of space.
I understand that many of you find it amusing since you have no interest in the BGS but for those of us that do, the "old Worlds" and the storylines within them are far more interesting when created by player interaction. When FDev come piling in with their story arcs that go nowhere, on whims created by employees that have no genuine investment in the outcomes, thousands of player hours are wasted on trying to revert their meddling.
Why do we care?
Because this is what playing this game means to us.
It's not about asking FDev to stop meddling. All we ask is that they include our actions, past and present in their considerations when they dream up their story arcs.
Leesti, Lave, Arque, Tionisla, Diso, Reidquat and many other "Old World" systems have been the subjects of many wonderfully epic faction wars, involving sometimes entire collectives of Alliance, independant, imperial and Federal factions, often involving hundreds, if not thousands of commanders. These stories, won or lost, will be told amongst those of us involved, for years.
