Class Y Dwarf with a visible but non existing ring?

I found this class Y Dwarf star in a system, that shows on the system map that it has a ring, but when i fly close and try to see it or surface scan for the ring it is nowhere to be found (i 've tried a lot). Of course you can't surface map stars, but you can check their rings for hotspots. Anyone seen this before or knows why it happens?

The forge can generate rings that are sufficiently low density that they fall below the threshold for actually being rendered. You might still be able to crash into it though, so be careful.

After the Fleet Carriers Update, I've seen a surprisingly high amount of missing Rings.

And not ultra thin or huge Rings - just typically normal B Rings that should have been there... but simply didn't exist.

Not sure what's up with that but I found it very notable.

In that case the ring simply might be too far away.
This dwarf has a radius of 82023 km so the ring would be 16163657 km away from it's surface.
