I found this class Y Dwarf star in a system, that shows on the system map that it has a ring, but when i fly close and try to see it or surface scan for the ring it is nowhere to be found (i 've tried a lot). Of course you can't surface map stars, but you can check their rings for hotspots. Anyone seen this before or knows why it happens?

After the Fleet Carriers Update, I've seen a surprisingly high amount of missing Rings.
And not ultra thin or huge Rings - just typically normal B Rings that should have been there... but simply didn't exist.
Not sure what's up with that but I found it very notable.

After I started hunting for shepherd moons a few years ago, I found out that surprisingly many rings are invisible in ED.

I've seen a couple, lauched a few probes and came up empty. I considered em unworthy of further investigation.
