Citizens and representatives of Celestial Light Brigade, the highest population single minor faction in the galaxy since 3306, hosted decadent festivities this week upon exceeding 500 billion registered supporting residents. A majority of this thriving populous still resides deep within core Imperial systems, primarily within the influence of the Brigade’s longtime patron Aisling Duval. However, over a third now dwell in clusters of deep space colony ventures in excess of 1,000-4,000 from previously inhabited space. These clusters of paradise-systems featuring high tier assets and infrastructure above existing habitable worlds are but precursor projects to the eventual arrival of CLB into the Voqooe sector and its 1,000 known earth like worlds. However, this boom of population growth is far from unique since the launch of the Brewer Company’s deployment of the Trailblazer Fleet in February of last year. Best available data suggests that galactic population has increased from less than 6.7 trillion humans to over 14 trillion reported population in the past 14 months. Celestial Light Brigade has held a significant minority stake in the Brewer Company since 3308 as the only minor faction to ever administer two of the company's primary shipyards in the Agartha and Ehlanda systems. Despite substantial experience in the stewardship of high population systems and privileged access to Brewer Company hardware and logistics, administrators within Celestial Light Brigade struggle to comprehend and justify the biologically impractical disparity of population dynamics. On behalf of the cooperative’s governing council, Progenitor Dom Rosa stated the following:
"While this surge of our population and that of the galaxy would seem a most joyous affair, the trend of growth defies all precedent and practicality. This rate of percentage population growth is approximately 30 times greater than humanity’s most prolific population explosions prior to achieving interplanetary and interstellar status. Even presuming an unfathomable lag time or discrepancy in galactic census records spanning the past decade on account of the Thargoid War, tensions between major powers, and the intrigues of powerplay, this rate of growth exceeds the limits of what is possible with current technology and human biological constraints. “It has been a privilege to represent the several hundred pilots who have poured uncounted hours of time and love into building up our minor faction from its humble origins in HR 8202 in 3303 into one of the most objectively successful entities in the galaxy. We also have abundant gratitude for our few enemies and abundant friends amongst the Imperial and Independent communities, most notably DRNC Squadron and Aisling Duval leadership who have supported and motivated many of our efforts. Community-created infrastructure which has pertinent impact on galactic events has been a great passion of our core team. Incorporating our exploration paradise in the Voqooe sector into the “Deep Space Support Array” was another squadron accomplishment that supported our vision while aiding fellow pilots. Bringing civilisation to this sector over 17,000ly from the Bubble is now inevitable. In this golden era of colonisation, there is no project more impressive and ambitious than the Grand Tiberian Mega-Highway project hosted by the Dukes of Mikuun. Now, having long passed the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae, the highway extends in two branches several thousand light-years towards the galactic core and Colonia. The fruits of this brilliant and ecumenical marathon include a minor faction with systems and assets that not only quickly surpassed the long-standing lead held by CLB but now also the totals of some galactic major powers. There can be no more worthy team to also immediately hand over first place in the galactic population.
