Horizons Clipper heat question

Hey Commanders,

I have a Clipper, moved the Shield Gen to the size 6 slot and G5 engineered Thermal resistant, also had G5 Thermal resistant S/boosters.

Yet when scooping the rise in temperature is most rapid, whereas my Python, G5 Enhanced Low Power Shield Gen and G1 Thermal S/Boosters it is far far slower.

Any ideas why this is so?

Heat generation is mostly about the efficiency rating of your power plant and how much power you’re drawing. It has nothing to do with the thermal resistance of shields. That stat is about how well your shields do against lasers.
