CMDR <Redacted>, what a persistent enemy you are

Is rank IE I went to novice at 55 kills some seem to have hundreds and still be mostly harmless

Is it random?

at what number of kills/bounty earned do you go up?

the threads on this I have seen are in disagrrement

I'm not sure why you're asking me about this in particular, but it seems that your combat rank rises differently depending on your target. An Elite NPC/Player will give you more rank progression that someone who is Harmless.

I hope this is what you're asking about.

OK I just thought you were racking the kills up. thanks though I feel great now

great thread . If you do see me in space, my tactics are based on Arnold Rimmer. My cobra is darn fast now,

' he who fights and runs away is wasting valuable running away time'

Good hunting Redan

I'm going back in

Very well, Commanders.

This is all quite flattering, of course, but I feel obligated to tell anyone who cares to listen that should any Commander, regardless of what they are flying, choose to take it upon themselves to bring me to justice, then they shall be quite disappointed I'm afraid.

Commander Eddy Gurge, and any one else who intends to seek me out...You may find me daily around the beta access systems (Eranin, Aulin, etc) with the occasional visit to SoL. All Federation space is fair game but allow me to part with a small wisdom: As I've told the others who have tried before you....Bring valuable cargo to barter for your life and sue for pardon. The only survivors will be the ones smart enough to pay for their own lives.

Awesome.

I don't want anything to do with this (please leave me alone), but I love your retort. Kudos, Commander.

Here is the second fight we had with CMDR Redan right after the first one. This time he decided to go again with gimballed multicannons, but spiced it up with pair of seeker missile launchers (unfortunately there are only medium quality seeker launchers in Eranin). I lost some of my hull, but he ended our fight again after all his missiles ran out. I divided this fight into 2 parts, so I could upload it with normal video speed (I only sped up the talk part)

@Redan: I think devs should provide you with a proper pirate-hideout somewhere inside the asteroid belt. I wouldn't mind bringing there a few units of liquor, so you let me land on it for repairs :)

Anyway, after all this trash about how you would obliterate me, the outcome of our battles allows me think that I won (both times :) ). Though I would admit that your rig has its advantages and that in the end I wasn't able to shoot you down. But what I wanted was an interesting fight or challenge and I surely got one - I thank you for that.

Love this thread. Once I have the insurance money in my wallet again I'll have to come find you Redan, sounds like it could be fun whichever way it goes :)

re: insurance money... don't drink and attempt to park your cobra at the same time :/

He got away with an exploit. If he did not want any risk of PvP he shouldn't have been in open play. Or he should have surrendered.

Agreed. Docking and logging is one thing. Logging in space to avoid an interdiction is an entirely different thing.

Confession: I actually like this song.
