Greetings fellow commanders,
I would like to introduce myself and our little creation "CMDR's Hub".
My name is Oliver, ingame known as CMDR Try4Ce, and a web designer / -developer.
I am building up an Elite: Dangerous Fanpage with my brother CMDR Maxunit, called "CMDR's Hub". Our goal is to provide a hub where all the stuff gathers around Elite: Dangerous.

We feature current News, Newsletters, Dev Updates, Changelogs, Galnet News and community chatter / content. Plus, the community can submit their own Stories from within the game to be featured on the front page and within the User Stories Database.
We also already covered some of the bigger topics on Reddit and here that happened the last few days. If we uploaded or used imagery we should't have used, please let us know. The least we want is to "anger" fellow commanders, so to speak.
There are still some features and content missing, like the Ship Database (currently being filled and developed), and as well as some partnerships with other Networks and a Forum (we're thinking about Invision PowerBoard).
Currently, I am the only one who is writing Articles and filling the Page with Galnet News. Plus, I try to capture interesting topics from the Forums and Reddit. Considering that I have a full time job as well plus developing the new areas of the web page, this is quite a task to keep up with, especially the Galnet Newes and Community Content (Forums, Reddit, Partnerships etc.).
We don't plan on making money with the project, as for now, its purely a fan creation without any use of Ads, Banners etc. We would like to keep it community based without pressure or additional time consuming tasks for members, staff or partners. We just thought it would be a nice Idea to create a place where things get collected and some cool media gets gathered, instead of being scattered around on the interwebs.
As with the forum, we know it can be expensive to get. But a Forum is a great place for example InGame Group sections, or faction sections (like some kind of guilds, groups, alliances, pirate hangouts). And as we want a website where the community is the main focus, this feature is one of the most important for now, but still in planning (as well as a fitting forum theme to match the website).
So feel free to explore the site. It's still in development and some content and features are still missing. Some things are not final like some design aspects, formats, mobile interface and probably the logo, but its quite usable. If someone wants to apply as a news writer (author) or wants to partner up with us (community content, web applications etc.), we would gladly get in contact with you.
If you submit your ingame stories, please understand that it may take a bit to be released, as we need to verify the content (to filter out spam and/or flaming, racism etc, the usual stuff that can happen with a feature like this) and may need to do some styling to be in sync with the already posted content and design of the website.

EDIT: On a side note, please excuse the english. Even tho I lived in canada for a while, my english isn't perfect, as its not my / our mother language. But we try our best ;-)
