I have the same Problem the Cobra mk 4 i no im my ship store . and i have Lifetime from first Time.

The MK4 is unlocked but you have to buy it. It is not free.
Yes, thats correct:
First sentence: "For a limited time all existing Elite Dangerous players will receive a £10 loyalty discount plus the exclusive Cobra Mark IV ship when ordering the Elite Dangerous: Horizons through the Frontier Store"
Third sentence: it changed from "receive ..... plus the exclusive" to "Those who take advantage of this offer will be able to purchase the Cobra MkIV in-game".
And sadly the last sntence about reveals the truth "Existing Elite Dangerous players receive a £10 loyalty discount off the price of Elite Dangerous: Horizons, retaining their progress and unlocking the exclusive ‘Cobra Mk IV’ in-game spacecraft."
So, thinking about it concludes me to think, that only the new commanders buying horizons without having ED before got the mk iv ?
Based on this I think Frontier needs to come out with a statement regarding this... Back when the announcement first came out a lot of us were talking about the Cobra Mk IV and when we would get it.. and now the confusion appears to be whether that is the case or not?

I will admit to thinking I was getting a free one but looking at that it seems my excitement over the Horizons announcement led to a failure to comprehend the sentence correctly.

This was the confusion back when the pre-orders started and it was fairly quickly confirmed that the Slowbra Mk4 would be available to purchase with in game credits. But you can keep it, I'll not be wasting my credits on one thanks.
This really isn't much af a big deal. We're talking about ~350K credits. Although it's going to be less for me because i'm going to strip and sell my III and buy a IV

I had one in Beta Testing and though it was a little meaner than the Mk111 having more firepower, it wasn't as quick or manoeuverable as its smaller cousin. Not sure which I preferred as I didn't really have time to try it out as I was too busy trying to work out how to get my scarab back into the mother ship!
