Colonia CG Organization

... and so it was that the humans had almost finished hauling as unobserved Thargoid Titans arrived to occupy the Colonia region. Many CMDRs perished in cargo vessels as their combat ships were back in the bubble...

Oh sorry, dropped off hauling. Crazy dream
and it will be the virus' that get them....

Whoever gives them the virus will die a horrible death by those nameless corporation monsters who are really the last surviving Guardians who are the real baddies

Remember Commander J

Well, as the 'evening' approaches I'm encouraged to do a bit more trucking because of the incredible efforts of the Elite Trucking Community. Anyone who's followed my posts will know that I didn't see even Tier 1 @ Einheriar being done and now it looks possible.

After the last CG when FDev were "disappointed" I am wondering what adjective they will use for 'our' failure this time - but it won't because you guys didn't try!

In future I shall revise my logistic assumptions....
They said they were disappointed?

Do you really think i picked a ride here and would not have brought along some combat ship, too? Ts ts ts...

Since the Colonia CG requires double digit millions per port to get Tier 1 to unlock the cargo racks I recommend we all start at the lowest requirement port - Mizuno in Asura - until it’s done then do the next highest and next highest until they’re all completed or until we lose.

This will prevent spreading out efforts across them all and potentially winning less than we could if we all focused on one port at a time.

Credit to CMDR Numa for pointing this situation out as well
Congratulations Asura has finished before many of us could arrive to take part.

To me it would have made more sense to concentrate on the slowest target

Yup, there was no other way to finish all T1's in time.
That is not entirely true. Contributors are

Asura 5,082
Randgnid 7,848
Carcosa 9,213
Einheriar 9,241

Therefore we could have an easier time, if the first two were not finished so soon. Then 4000 more commanders could have contributed for this one...

how do you communicate and coordinate with 9,000 commanders and get them to follow you?
You cannot (at least in ED), but we do not need to communicate with all 9000 directly. But most load was done by a subgroup of the 25% group, which means you need to only reach a bulk of them and indirect communication was done was all commanders, as Asura was finished off before the weekend started: off, you are not wanted here.*

*but I am postive surprised that over 9000 commanders showed up for this CG. That is only 3000 less than the CG in Facece.

People see a bar filling faster than others, they go there as fast as they can. With slower progress people would likely also have moved slower, costing time and tonnage, and at least one CG would have likely failed. In the end we won't definitively know who's right or wrong, since we'd have to go look in an alternate universe where things went the other way. So let it rest now, it's over. I don't particularly like how this went down, but it was inevitable with how FDEV structured it.

Now there's something we can agree on! I barely drink these days - but a fine brandy is not just to be sniffed at!
*cough, about that bet.

I have placed a purchase order for 1 unit of Lavian Brandy on my carrier: INV - Concordia - WFG-G20

She's back in the bubble so feel free to settle up at your convenience 😜🍷
