I think sometimes posters are too loose with the terms that they use. For example, in some cases when posters say that Frontier haven't listened, what they appear to mean is that Frontier haven't listened and done what they were told to do.

Listening and ignoring is still listening.
Indeed, e.g. Frontier have listened to players suggesting / proposing / demanding that game content availability should be changed to suit their preferred play-style for over eight years - that they haven't changed it does not mean that they don't listen.

As a rule, I consider those who want "power" to be plebs themselves.

That's not the definition of plebs though, the plebs are the ones without power, the general populace, as opposed to those with the power. Rgeardless of whether or not they want power, if they don't have power they are plebs, if they do have power they aren't plebs, drawn from ancient Rome, Plebian versus Patrician.

I thought Plebs formed their own assembly and had a vote in it which then became recognised and represented them? Which brings us nicely back to the CAC. Still No thankyou.

Cool.

Pretty common slang where I am from, just saying.

You know as well as I do that he was just using it as a petty insult.

Also, that still makes the dude I quoted a pleb by your own logic.

You are too. (y)

EDIT: And me too, before you say it.

Ahhh...no.
I'm happy enough with how things have been going these last few months.
Also, considering how divisive these forums have always been, any "council" would only make things worse and alienate those "not on the council".
I think it works best as it stands where everyone has a say and speaks for themselves.
