The "We have lost one with such knowledge" just screams salami, she had others that just disappeared from lore for the most part and this "person" or whatever says we.... Something makes me think the location is the zahura in the rift. Most likely roleplaying however thats what salami was also so i guesnworth checking out just incase

Salami-related events were in the announcement section to make the maximum number of people think they were participating in an event where they could actually control the outcome and wasnt totally scripted.

I believe cmdrs have been getting ingame texts on "Mysterious Stranger ingame since the beyond update, but they lead to the same 4 locations

I've been collecting data on these messages, and so far I have almost 30 different locations so far. All persistent POI's. Though a number do use the same text for the message and logs at the site.

I would assume RP. If the translation is correct, I'd say that FD would know the difference between "your" and "you're". Also, FD has been a bit more inventive than simply printing out the text as octal ASCII code.
