After reading the following article: http://the-onionhead.ovh/2017/06/17/thargoids-have-returned/, some Cmdrs met and agreed that something must be done to push members of this "Club" under the light.
Foreword
Salomé’s day.
April 29, 3303 is an historical date in many ways.
It offered us an opportunity to organize ourselves on a much larger scale than we had ever done before. The remains of this organization are still active and can be considered as the foundation of a broad movement.
By allowing Cmdrs Raan Corsen, Tsu Annabelle Singh and Yuri Nakamura to reach Teorge, this organization allowed them to released parts of the message that Cmdr Salomé wished to give us.
This message, recorded by Rebecca Weston, told us that the superpowers and the mega-corporations were fully aware of the imminent arrival of a much worse threat than the Thargoids in its time, and, several decades ago, had discreetly organized a mission to find colonizable systems that could serve as a hideout for mankind once the new threat was brought to action. These logs have also made it clear to us that those same superpowers and mega-corporations are being manipulated by a shadowy organization.
Since then, we have been able to find the last will of Cmdr Salomé, left in a relay on a medical hub. It confirm all this:
Challenge the authorities. Force their hand. Refuse to be manipulated. Do not rise to their provocations. Make your own powerplays, organise embargoes and blockade the ports. Break their hold and force them out into the open. Blaze a trail. Visibility is the one thing they cannot abide.
To date, this puppetmaster has still not been identified.
We can therefore say that all the policies currently being implemented in the historic inhabited area of space are based on an agenda which we do not have any knowledge.
Mega-corporations
Wreaken Construction & Mining has been operating secretly in the area of Col 70 Sector for the past several months. The whole area is permit locked. It is clear that the corporation's activities in this sector are important enough for people with great power to force the Federation of Pilots to give access to this sector to the mega corporation and its employees . Wreaken is most likely only the performer of an operational part of this project, of which we know nothing.
An incident came to shed some light on all this, which the authorities quickly tried to pass for an industrial accident.
Cmdr Scarlett Ashcroft then launched a protest movement that, given the resources available to the Cmdrs, was successful. She was assisted by a pirate group operating in the area: The Ghost of Col 70.
Sirius Corporation has a relationship with Wreaken Construction & Mining, a strong and historic bond. The mega-corporation bought the start-up MetaDrive Inc. last year to put its hand on its patents. This would be a revolutionary FSD engine.
As long as Sirius holds the exclusivity on this technology, it is unlikely that we will ever have any benefit of it.
That is why The Ghost of Col 70 decided to launch the blockade of Procyon, an important system among those controlled by the mega-corporation.
The Superpowers
The Federation, the Empire, and later the Alliance, are embarked on a race to control alien resources.
The Federation quickly set foot in the Maia system, and the Empire quickly followed suit.
The tensions between the two superpowers have never ceased to rise since then in the region of the Pleiades. They climbed a notch above when the Federation assigned Pr Palin to residence in Maia.
Professor Palin leads very important researches for humanity. He is a specialist in alien technologies, and we owe him a lot of what we already know.
Very recently, he has made a series of major discoveries, and the Federation has decided to send agents to steal his data while wiping out his databases.
While their convoy was on their way to the place where these datas were to be “safely stored”, the convoy was attacked by unknown ships. Much of this data has been saved but not the convoy.
The traces left by the attack on the federal vessels suggest that it could have been performed by the Thargoids. This general feeling is reinforced by a short message issued on site by a totally intact communication relay saying that the Thargoids were back.
It should be noted, however, that shortly before Professor Palin was victim of the theft by the feds, he had clearly identified the unknown ships that we recently encountered as thargoids. Thus, the military hierarchy aboard the federal convoy had enough informations to indicate that it had been attacked by Thargoids if that had indeed been the case. Now, the computer of the cruiser Farragut speaks of unknown ships.
The singularity movement, launched very recently, has as main claim the total withdrawal of the federal forces of Maia, as well as the lifting of the house arrest that weighs on Pr Palin. This is to let him work in peace, but above all, so that we can be sure that the results of his capital researches will end up in the hands of all.
Deus Ex Machina
The intervention of a divinity being able to undo a desperate situation impromptu, the expression can be extended to any resolution of history that does not follow the internal logic of the narrative but allows the dramatist to conclude his play of the way he wants.
We can see that, here, the Thargoids are perfectly fit for this role.
Remains to discover who wrote the story but needed this Deus Ex Machina to drive it where we are now.
Goals
The puppetmaster we are dealing with is an expert in concealment and manipulation that hides his traces and existence so well that he may have remained in the shadows for many decades, perhaps more. We do not even see the strings that are used to animate his puppets.
However, a puppeteer can never play his show if his puppets are broken.
So we must logically attack his puppets if we want him to come out of the shadows where he is hiding.

The operation
July 4th is a date that makes sense in the history of the ancient Earth. This is the date when the US emancipated itself from the yoke of the British Empire.
That is why we chose to launch the operation on 4 July 3303.
The operation itself, the details, the targets, the dates and places, nothing will be publicly communicated until these elements are in progress.
Deus Ex Machina Initiative is conceived as a grouping of actions carried out by many groups on different targets.
We will therefore communicate on all these elements once the operations have begun, for obvious reasons of security.
We don’t have a lot of tools in hands to move the lines, but these we have could be powerful. But we don’t expect to see some results quickly.
Deus Ex Machina Initiative will be probably a mid-term, or a long-term operation requiring patience, tenacity and involvement. Fast results are not impossible but we must stay on the ground : our targets are the entities the most powerful in the Galaxy.
Any group, wishing to join the operation can do so by contacting the liaison officer by pm here. The code of invitation of the server discord serving for the coordination will then be sent in response. 2 Cmdr per groups maxi. Each group come with an operation project, then join the discord after sending a link to the operation by pm, and coordinate with others.
As it was the case on April 29, 3303, each group is invited to organize as one wishes. He will send representatives to liaise between the Board of Deus Ex Machina Initiative and his group. The Board of Operation shall be composed of all such representatives and each shall have the same rights and duties as all others.
All on an equal footing, all united towards a single objective: to bring out of the shadow the ones who manipulates the whole Galaxy, to force him to publicize all he know, or at least, all he believe to know.
