Compact desktop PC recommendation

I have a Quest 2 and want to go back to playing in VR. I’m looking for a well-built PC that’s compact yet powerful enough to run ED. Any recommendations?

Unfortunately the graphics card needed to run a Quest 2 in VR at any level of good will be a dual slot card such as a 3080 so compact would be a tough go.

No idea how much you're spending so I would say get a laptop with a 3080Ti, something like one of the MSI Raiders with a high TDP. Allegedly about the same performance as a 1080Ti. My 1080Ti ran Horizons fine with 4790K PC on my G1 if I turned the settings down a bit. EDO was an aliased mess though. I'm going to guess ( but it is just my speculation ) that such a laptop will run better than my rig did because they come with Alder Lake now.

Of course that means spending thousands and thousands for 1080Ti performance which I wouldn't do personally but if 'compact' is king for you then this might be a way.

Agree you should be fine with a 3080/6800XT... Now to find a small case :ROFLMAO:
I'd stay away from laptops because of thermals
