RCT 3 IOS Compatibility

Hi I have been viewing your game for a while now and wanted to download it to my iPod 5th gen but found it was not compatible. So I was wondering if the game will become compatible with more devices.

Unfortunately due to hardware limitations, we won't be able to port RCT3 further on to older versions of the IOS.

I loved the PC version and have been wanting a RCT on IOS for a while. But I only have the original ipad mini. Will it still work?

Here is the list again.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 for iOS is supported on the following iOS devices with iOS 7, iOS 8 or iOS 9:

• iPhone 5S

• iPhone 6

• iPhone 6 plus

• iPad Air

• iPad Air2

• iPad Mini 2

• iPad Mini 3

Unfortunately RCT3 on iOS doesn't run on models not listed as supported, as it requires certain processing features only available on the later model devices.

So unless I'm mistaken I'd say your device is not going to be compatible I'm afraid.

The reason for this is that prior to release, we ran a lot of testing of the title on many different devices and found that due to lack of either processing or graphics power, those devices were not capable of running the game. At Frontier, our top priority is providing fun and immersive gameplay experiences, and sadly, we didn't feel that those devices deemed 'unsupported' were up to the challenge.

I hope that you can understand our reasoning behind this.

I don't understand I used to have a jailbreak with appsync and i bought this to see if it would work on iphone 5 and it worked perfect of course it had some lag so why would you "Lie" to your costumers if it runs smooth on a 5?

I think you've answered your own question there! It lags... It's up to Frontier what they're willing to support.
