[Competition] The Pioneer’s Cooperative: Placing a Bounty on a Colonizable System

I found one! :)

DROJAEA ON-B D10

It's not as big as some of the other contenders, but it has some nice features (especially for scientists):

The Earth-like world (at 631 ls from entry point) is in a moon orbit around a high metal content world, providing a unique perspective of orbital mechanics.

The HMCW that the Earth-like orbits is terraformable!

The next planet is a water world, which is also terraformable!
This provides great opportunities for diving and fishing trips, which I'm sure we will be able to do very soon... soon... soon-ish...

Ammonia-based lifeforms can be studied in the third planet, a gas giant with nice sparkly icy rings that shimmer in the sunlight from the friendly F-class star.

The fourth planet is an icy planet with an insane atmosphere. The ground pressure is at 51.509 atmospheres! (That's not a comma, by the way)
A runaway greenhouse effect ensures a cozy temperature of 576 Kelvin.
As if that is not enough, it actually has water geysers! At more than 300 degrees Celsius and more than 51 thousand atmospheres, you better stand back!

Speaking of geysers HMCW have some geysers too, of a different flavour, spewing silicate vapours hundreds of feet into the air! (I imagine)

Not to be outdone by its neighbours, the water world puts on a shows of its own with underwater iron magma volcanoes!

Metal can be easily harvested from the metallic asteroid belt near the star, and finally there is a number of smaller moons to be explored.
In fact, I intentionally skipped scanning the moons, so if you want to get your name on this legendary system, get out there and scan one. ;)

Five more have qualified bringing the count up to twenty-four.

A reminder: posts outside of the range or lack any one of the two required elements as listed in the OP will not qualify.

Greeting Commanders,

Here's the contribution from the black Birds Squadron. Not realy satisfy cause the metalic belt is far from the arrival point (+19000 SL)...
But I've visited more than 800 systems for find this one so here it is:

Thanks for this mission!

That is our 25th to qualify. I'd recommend putting some creativity into the civil planning though :p

5526 Ly from Earth, on the back edge of the Cat's Paw nebula, so easy to find. Planet six is an Earthlike world, and Planet ten has pristine metallic rings. And it has a helluva view.

If there is to be a station there, it needs to be called the Cat's Cradle.

Good news!

The top four voted submissions will be winners rather than the top three. The Canonn has donated a paintjob or ebook for the fourth place.

One week is left in the competition.

The ELW is at a solid 259 kLS, but that far out, what is a 15 min travel anyway - right? Also two metallic belts.

Another nicely compact system, the ELW is in orbit with a metal planet, a terraforming candidate, another terraforming candidate at the secend sun. Metallic belt directly at system entry.

Sadly no glamour shots, they somehow got lost.

Hi, I'm a commander from the L.O.S.P. Here is my contribution. This is the system Smojue NC-D d12-54, located at 3885.09Ly from Sol. I'm not the one who discovered it.

  • Part 1: Galactic Location:

  • Part 2: The System Plan:
It's a system with one star (class G) . The earth-like is at 789.55sl from arrival point. The metallic belt is located close to the sun. The first giant gas has a rich metal ring. There is also a high metal content world candidate for terraforming.
