I use Chrome but in general I do not have any problem.

could be your antivirus. that message means that the site is secure (https and the browser cannot verify the site's certificate. can be a lot of reasons, not necessarily dangerous, but better be safe than sorry, so check first. you should also see an error code telling you exactly what's wrong.

Yes it must be this, because yesterday when I entered the address directly in the address bar of Chrome, I removed the HTTPS and just used the WWW.

So I went to the site.

okay. just don't EVER input personal data on sites with http (without the s, "not secure"), as that means the connection is not encrypted. any jerk in the neighborhood sniffing your wifi could get your data in plain text.

I know well.

And I never use the Wifi.

I am a purist, I use the direct Ethernet cable, which in my eyes provides the best, the most efficient and the most reliable connection with the net.

Especially with a connection at 950 Mb / s (a little pretentious can not hurt).

There entry requirements for the Computer science degree is the same as Oxbridge.

But the main concern right know is that there arnt enough female at the university and everyone just spends all there time studying and not going to parties.as staed in the student room website. That site is hilarious.

So where is all the spam Im getting coming frond. I meen its actually phishing emails. Fortunately the indivuals who created have terrible grammar so its clear its bull.
They include your actuall full name.

I also get people ringing up trying to convince me my windows pc has a problem...

yes, doesn't mean there's necessarily anything wrong. just the validation failed and that could be for several reasons, on the site or on the users computer or browser. the boilerplate part of that message is always the same, though.

that's for giving away your email address. who leaked it? go figure. if it includes your full name, that should narrow it down ... from gazillions to mere zillions, i guess.

that sort of spam is everywhere. just ignore it, but anyway i recommend you use at least 2 email accounts, one for serious stuff (and give it away very sparingly), the other for any other random crap. just for qol, that pest isn't going away.
