A better solution is that PVP heroes learn to cope with the fact that people don't have to fight them, because its not a dedicated PVP game.

Again, WHAT consequences are those if you simply log off before I can blow you up? Again, there are NO consequences. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Rien. Niente. And why would I care about a bounty on my head if I simply log off before anyone can collect it?

You seem to have this mythical image of "consequences" in your mind when in reality, there are none. All you've just listed here are rendered futile due to the fact that you can simply log off when faced with any danger.

It's not worth debating asp. He won't concede a point, and ignores points he doesn't like. He's anti chat, anti group cooperation, anti pvp. Take a look through his post history. Not only that, his little rant about "you better be careful when you interact with another player or I (cough, I mean someone else) will try to hack you and ruin your personal life because I (cough, I mean someone else) can't handle being interacted with in a way in which I (cough, I mean someone else) doesn't come out on top with no chance of losing" seriously creeped me out.

Just ignore him.

Oh I don't cheat, and nor do I ask (or expect) other people to play my way. I play Elite my way, a nice little experiment between two quite rarely visited systems, just to see how one player can influence things. It's not profitable, neither does it rank me up in any aspect, it's not even particularly exciting for the most part - but I enjoy it and the results are interesting. I don't require much co-operation for that.

Yes its not a dedicated PVP game if you play SOLO.
IF you play OPEN anything should and could happen. Thats the risk that you take.
