Well, if someone could post a build of a PC that'll get a consistent 60 FPS on decent graphics settings in Odyssey, that would give me an idea of what I'm working towards.

OP, why do you throw out these horrible threats. These people likely have never done any harm to you.
Frontier is studying the possibilities.
Let's work with the community to help them transfer everything from consoles to pc.
I've had no problems with Odyssey framrate since launch: using an i7, GTX 2060 (mobile), 16gb RAM
Depends on the console.
Games I'm playing at the moment on console are all 60 FPS, so I would prefer not to have a drop.
I have a similar config in my notebook and I had issues only in "on foot czs".
Running 1440p.
Other situations its good to play.
How does Elite work with the Microsoft store and Gamepass. If you have an Xbox account, can't you play it on PC using a Microsoft account.
My friend has just told me about this. Having Elite on XsX, I am saddened (but not salty) about FD’s decision. I do actually have Elite Odyssey on Steam but have only played an hour of it since release, as I preferred XsX play.
Oh well, I guess I’ll be uninstalling on XsX and dusting off my Steam version.

I have a Ryzen 9 3900x, 64GB of 3200mhz ram, EVGA 1080ti FTW3 card, with Elite running on a SSD, playing on a 1440p/120hz monitor - I get 120 in space, 90s in and around star ports and 70-90 in on foot areas, with the occasional dip below 60 in on foot CZ's
Graphic settings pretty much maxed out I believe. I think I turned shadows down a notch.
I haven't had a problem with performance since the September 2021 update.
This is also my biggest problem.
I’ve got loads of unique bits & bobs like ship skins, decals & weapons I’ve won in CGs (I’ve even got the decal from an unofficial AXI CG fro way back).
A credit transfer doesn’t mean much when you have hard won unique assets.

I already reactivated my PC account I used for Distant Worlds 2 and enjoy the grind in Ceos/Sothis to get the federation rank up
I still hope for a full transfer on my Console account, but it would not surprise me if they just go the "Well, we are done with consoles for good" route and just sit it out.
My sqadron was only active an xbox, have to see how many move to PC, if anyone at all.

i agree but like you my service will be a short time offer and at least 90% of commanders know hot to grind up fast credits and rank as you i will help if i can

Solid logic. I don't have cancer, so nobody has cancer. I don't haven an IQ, so nobody has one...
Fact is that a lot of people reported performance problem at launch. And the root cause never was fully understood. Some people barely over potato level PCs did fine, while others had huge issues despite running top end hardware. I also can confirm that on my equipment (AMD Ryzen 7 3700 with 32 GB of RAM) it at launch showed a number of problems which were clearly on CPU side, while the hardware monitor showed that my GPU was bored and not doing much at all.
I also can confirm that the updates then improved things and in autumn we arrived at a state where the game became playable for me again. (Allowing me to finally confirm that Odyssey gameplay sucks for me, even if the performance is fine. ) But there's still people aorund who up to this day report performance problems.
So based on the statement i quoted, i guess i can conclude that if things are fixed for me, things are fine for everybody?
We are parking our fleet carriers up at HIP 58832 for the time being. This is an occupation of a single key system, as an in game “protest”. Hopefully this helps increase the chance we are heard and we have these full transfers available in a timely fashion.
