Console Copy Portal: Queue Times

I would have even bought the game again on PC as long as five years of progression from console gaming carries over.
I am grateful to Frontier for providing us with the service.
 
I already have horizons on pc. Which i bought a few years ago, but started playing on Xbox one X as it was more convenient at the time and was more powerful than my pc. I bought a copy on there too thinking that this was future proof....
I have played elite for years. When it first came out.
What you get, is the choice.
You can transfer your profile to the account you already own ED on, and get nothing else.
OR
You can create a new Fdev account, they will give you a copy of ED.H on that account, and that compensation is the console compensation.
That is an available option for ALL console users.

If you choose not to use that, then you receive no further compensation.

And Odyssey being on sale is a bonus for all users now.

But asking what other compensation there is, there is none. There is ONE compensation available to all console users.
If you don't want to have 2 copies of the game and 2 PC Cmdrs and you choose to use your existing PC account to be replaced, than that's completely your decision and not utp fdev to find additional compensation for you.

Simply moving our accounts is compensation for no longer supporting new console content/Odyssey. Anything beyond that is fdev going above and beyond to ease the pain... but in my opinion, I don't think they HAD to give anyone a PC copy for free. Many users paid for both, like you and myself, if ppl wanted to continue, they could have bought it on pc like the rest of us who did before all this... so fdev had ZERO obligation to give free copies with the profile transfers, it's completely out of an apology in away for the way it all ended on console.

Try going here;

And login with the account you copied your profile over too.

When it logs in, you should see two things in a table of information;
a FID(Frontier ID)
And the last thing in the table should say Platform and then Frontier

If you don't see both the ID and Platform, then that's not the account you transferred your profile too and recieved a copy of ED.H on.

If you do see both, and still can't login in the launcher, go to the Partner Keys section and redeem the keys to get your copy thru Steam instead if you don't want to wait for support.
You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher :/ if you want to see if maybe it's just stuck or somthing, but only do that if you've confirmed in the account portal that's the correct account

Addon: you should be able to link to an existing steam account that owns ED aswell, from that user portal, if you have that option, anyone, jus fyi

My only advice is to wait for support....
Also to ask, did you open a regular support ticket or one of the profile transfer specific support tickets?
If you did a normal one, i can only last suggest using the console profile transfer specific ticket portal;

Fdev is usually on top of responding to tickets in a reasonable time frame, and those transfer specific ones were being answered in under 48 hrs for the most part...

I have no further advice beyond waiting...

It might not hurt to reach out to fdev support on Twitter at this point... they usually respond right quick, sometimes in under an hour or two...
They probably can't directly fix your problem, but they can escalate your ticket probably if it's been already 5 days and no response of any kind. And that might get someone to deal with it within the next 24hours forsure.
But this is all just conjecture mostly, I've had success and failures with Twitter support for several companies, some, Twitter is awesome to go to for support, others, not so much...

You still having trouble logging in?

I am on Nvidia Geforce now and couldn't get in using Frontier.
I remembered I had an Epic account which I tried 2 years ago for their free copy.
I logged in there and linked it to Frontier and now can Play from Epic on the Frontier Play launcher (3.8 and 4.0).

For what its worth, I am regressing back to ED on PS4 as the Geforce now gamepad does not allow all settings on one controller like the PS4 DS Controller, I am not getting my head round looking up which key to press (e.g. had to find 'u' to deploy and retract hardpoints as I couldn't dock for 1 hour - PS4 was 'square' button on the controller!

I am hoping to get Geforce Shield TV Pro soon and use the controller it comes with.
 
My transfer is all ballsed up. I had a different FD account to the one I was using for PS, and I'd bought EDO on that second email a week or two ago. But when I logged into FD on the transfer portal I used my main account which was linked to the PS. That transfer worked but it didn't think I had EDO entitlement, that was on the second account. I raised a ticket, then checked back and now my main account has EDO but neither that or Horizons have my CMDR, they are both clean.

Due to the overwhelming number of Commanders accessing the Console Copy Portal and the scale of data being transferred, wait times can be up to 5hrs for the copy process to complete.

Please bear in mind that you will not be able to play Elite Dangerous whilst the copy process is taking place.

You will also be unable to log in to any frontier services while the process is happening: that includes the User Portal, ARX Store and DLC Store.

Since some of use XBox players have copied our Commander over to PC I noticed something. Ranking for Trade, Exploration, and the others go beyond Elite in Odyssey. I transferred over to PC, have a copy of Odyssey, and noticed I'm still at Elite in Trade and Exploration. For example, I have sold exploration data for over 1, 620, 530, 534 and traded 12, 274, 225,778, but my ranking hasn't moved since being on PC. Is this intended and do use former XBox players start from 0 since will have a copy on PC?
 
Did you try to log out and back in. I noticed that my rank in exobiology dont move up after selling my data. However, once I relog the progress is shown.

Since the copy went into effect and playing, I have noticed my statistics have changed; however, once I reached 1.6b in selling exploration data I didn't move on to Elite IV or get Elite V since I have over 12b in overall trade sold.

Yay! My 6 year old Xbox account is finally on PC.......and I also brought over my lesser PS4 account as well (in case my 2yr old daughter would ever like to fly with her old man).
