Greetings Commanders. With the release of the 'Console Copy Portal' we are seeing reports of several of you hitting continuous 'Database Error' when attempting to complete the process. Your internet is not the problem, once you put the request in it is all on frontiers end and they have a big queue to go through it seems.how long does the transfer take been at it for an hour i have good internet ?

Copy the launcher in the same folder and rename it to something meaningful. Run the copy, it will ask for credentials. Use the new ones. No need to log off from the original.I set up another account with a different email address that I want the console copy to go to. Just wondered if I could sign into my existing copy of EDH with the new email and password
I don't think your internet connection will matter too much. I am guessing the variation in queue time has something to do with the amount of data our profiles have. I started the transfer process before some that have now completed the process, but I do have a lot of in game time and done a lot in game with that time so maybe it's just that????how long does the transfer take been at it for an hour i have good internet ?
I’m glad that the console profile copy process is live. Would I be able to access my save if I purchase this game on Steam? I plan on playing this on a Steam Deck in the future.

Is it just a case of at step 2 using the existing Frontier account? Will I be able to use my existing PC commander name if I delete it?

Thanks as always for your patience and support. Please encourage any friends you know who play on console to consider copying their profile to PC! This option comes at no additional cost, includes a PC copy of Elite Dangerous, and your original console profile will remain available for play.
- ARX Balance. Please ensure that you purchase desired customisations before you complete the transfer. Any unspent Arx will remain on your original console profile
- Fleet Carriers and their contents. Please decommission these ahead of going through the process so that your resulting Credit balance will be included.
- Your Commander name if it is already in use by another PC player. You will be given the chance to choose a new name as part of the process
- Squadron membership
- Friends lists, Block lists and Private Groups
- Current mission progress
