Yes, you can still get your account copied to a new PC CMDR. You get a free Horizons account on PC in this case.

As mentioned in this week's Discovery Scanner, this month is absolutely a one for some quite large scale events, one specifically being the console profile copy process, with the release of the console profile copy portal.

For those of you with questions around the other big bit of Galaxy-keeping, '4.0', outside of console copying - We're working on the release plan for this too it and will be back with specifics in dedicated communications as soon as possible.

Question about the transfers process does EDev Know how they are going to do the process will it be like the old Ticket System, or a new system ?

Is there an end date, as yet? Still trying to get a PC able to run anything more than minesweeper.

Just apply for the copy/ transfer anyway. If you have a PC that could run the game even if it’s awful, you can get your account with the copied save and then just sit on it till you have a better PC.

Thanks but I wanted a new one, never trust refurbished. Someone sent me this but he said he didn't know 100% it would run Odyssey.

Have you looked into GeForce Go? I’ve never tried it but you may have a smart TV or another device that might be an option.

The link Sally posted in the OP will explain some things, but the target date to start hasn't come yet

Our high level release plan:

• Starting Monday September 5th, we will begin targeted testing of the console profile copy portal ahead of release. This will last approximately one week.
• Depending on the results, we will then be in a position to release an exact date for the release of the console profile copy portal, however our current estimate for you as a guideline, is that release is targeted at the week commencing September 12th.

I read the FAQ, so I'm pretty sure I have my answer already. Which is no. I play on PC already, but I was wondering if it would be at all possible to transfer my Current Assets Value/Credits from Console to PC. I put a lot of time in console before transitioning and even if I can't get the ships and stuff from console, it would be nice if I could get my credits back.

I believe you can; however, it will wipe the cmdr from PC and then transfer your console one. As far as combining the two.... pretty sure no is correct.

All this is just going over my head, people are giving me advice and you'd be better off telling it to a monkey. Starting to think maybe it's just time to give up on the game or seriously look into the steam deck option. It's not as good but seems far less complicated

I got my PC from them. Really good service. They are built to order so there is a few days lead time. They are very good quality. I didn't get any of the build extras, the cable management is really good. It's important for air flow but is often overlooked with prebuilt systems.

They say no merging so the console assets can’t be added to your PC assets, but they can replace them,

No, the copy account will be a free copy of Horizons either via FDev or STEAM (using a key) you will need to buy EDO on whichever platform you choose for the console transfer PC account…

Got a smart TV but got it a year too early, it has to be a 21/22 model. Could look into my Samsung galaxy Tab s8 ultra. Think for the time being I may just go with the steam deck option until I can afford a better PC. It's not as good but seems to run Odyssey quite well at medium/lower settings but it's better than not playing it at all.

I'm looking into it now. Unfortunately I got my smart TV a year too early, my Samsung galaxy s8ultra is currently unsupported so I'm looking into the Xbox route. Probably just gonna go with the steam deck until I can afford a better PC
