Great move!

But I'd have to buy the game again on PC and pay another $10 a month on top of my 2 gaming subscriptions that I already have. There's GeForce NOW: you can use the Steam version of the game to play it. You can use the free tier, or pay something like 9-10$/month.
This^^Honestly I would have hoped you would have all the info at the ready for transfers etc to make delivering the bad news a little bit more palatable. You know it's gonna go down like a lead balloon.
then its inevitable the game is already deadHorizons is a dead parrot.
Even with servers running for some time ahead. Eventually there will be only PC Odyssey - it is inevitable.
One Word: DisappointedHey OA, we have no plans to develop Odyssey for next gen consoles.
Given Frontier's recent trend of stripping off supported platforms, I don't see too much reason for optimism in the future.then its inevitable the game is already dead
This was a management announcement, executive style. DB takes responsibility and the first heat. Thanks
As a side note, it's a shame that you guys can't give any details on why you have made this decision. But I understand Frontier's reluctance to discuss it.
That's a GOOD point.Great move!

I’ll be honest, @Paul_Crowther, I’m not sure I believe this will ever happen. Maybe it’s just the timing of you saying it, but “exploring options” is pretty non-committal right after the abandonment of a feature with more firm promises from the development side. If FDev wants to make things right, commit to it. Maybe you can’t, but @David Braben can.We are exploring options for transfers but at present have nothing to announce.
